Egrets, Roseate Spoonbills, Glossy Ibis

Along the Texas coast there is yet another wildlife sanctuary that is full all winter with migrating birds and some birds that live here year around. The pink ones flying off are the Roseate Spoonbills. They are tucked in with the Egrets and Glossy Ibises. I hope we get to drive through there next week. I'm afraid it suffered greatly during the last hurricane (August 2008) that came in near Beaumont. We were through the area in October, but were not able to visit the Anahuac Refuge.
