Two Favorite Photos of Paris

Montmartre by night, December 2008

Eiffel Tower is Blue taken from Montmartre, December 2008

Two of my favorite photographs in Paris. I like the image of Montmartre at an angle. Took this as I was walking down the hillside. I love the people standing and looking out over Paris by night with the cobblestones at their feet and a light from a single street lamp. The Eiffel Tower is blue during the Christmas Season. The blue is so deep as to appear almost purple.

  3. Thank you Dave & my Cuban friend. I love taking photographs. It is a challenge to get them just right... to catch the essence of a place.

  4. Hello I am an English lady in FRance; I actually live just 2 1/2 hrs south of Paris, and I loved your photos! I tried walking up the Eiffel Tower many ears ago, and got a panic attack, so never made it! Years later I plucked up the courage to up in the lift- and what a reward the view was!

  5. That top photo is awesome. I love the shades of gray and black and the angle. And the nature vs. manmade. Lovely.
